Harmonium
Level 5 – Sangeet Prabhakar – 1st Year
- Student will develop advanced basic command over vocal singing and harmonium support.
- Student will practice vilambit and drut compositions at an introductory level.
- Student will understand raag personality, pakad, swar-vistar, and simple improvisation.
- Student will play selected raag-based melodies and song lines on the harmonium.
- Student will prepare 8–10 songs, bhajan, geet, or raag-based musical pieces.
Is harmonium path me swar singing, listening, aur vocal support built-in hai. Student ko alag beginner vocal course lene ki zaroorat nahi hai.

Program Outcome
Sangeet Prabhakar – 1st Year is an advanced foundation level where students begin moving from guided learning toward deeper musical understanding and self-practice.
In this level, students work on raag-based vocal practice, vilambit and drut singing, alankar, taan patterns, swar-vistar, taal control, and harmonium accompaniment. They learn how to support their singing with harmonium and how to present compositions with more confidence.
Special focus is given to disciplined riyaaz, expression, pronunciation, stage confidence, and practical understanding of classical and semi-classical music.
